Last week it was my birthday
  Got some owl feather soap
  Made from real owl feathers.
I mistook it for a joke

My friend said, " That soap's special
  The feathers make it wise.
You will take it home and wash away
  a look of sheer surprise"

" The lather knows just where to go
  But stays away from eyes
It hunts down dirt until you're clean
  Then by itself it dries"

  Well lately I've had cravings
as I've sat around the house,
to stroll down to the meadow
  and catch myself a mouse

I'm asking people I already know
" Hoo Hoo Hoo are you?"
I have never blinked my eyes a lot,
but now that's all I do.

  When feathered soap is finished
  I won't buy another bar
  unless it's for a friend
with a barn in his backyard
