When it comes to the conscience,                         there is no battle of the sexes

HARD DRIVE

There is a blurred line connecting freedom of speech (and images), with the multibillion dollar online porn business. How is it that adult magazines must have their covers obscured in variety stores, but an unsupervised child can see virtually any kink they seek on the net?

HER CANVAS  PT 1.

A woman has two canvases. The outer one wears fashionable clothing, striking make-up, and jewelry. The second is the inner, more frustrated canvas. This conscience is frustrated by the way men show abundant interest in the package, but a lesser devotion to the substance beneath.

ESPANA

During a visit to a poetry forum, viewers were asked to compose a poem to accompany the Salvador Dali painting shown within. Once I completed my Espana, there was little doubt that this poem deserved space in this section. Much of my poetry contains surreal images, because, like Dali, I become bored by traditional expectations.

NIAGARA

She has unleashed her misty kisses on millions of lovers. And they have spent billions to come and feel her thunder touch their hearts.
She has one trick, but she does it very well.

MEN'S ROOM LOGIC

Ah, that palpable shift in self-awareness that occurs in most men when entering a public restroom. Perhaps this is a residue from the bully/victim scenarios that played out when men were boys, vying for an image in school.

HER CANVAS PT 2.
For all the men who needed to see what may have been tucked beneath. There it is. And if that is not enough titillation, give this poem a peek.

WHITE NOISE

This poem further explores our perception of nature's gender. When Mother Nature is calm, she can shine with an inspirational beauty.  However, when she aggressively cleans her house, no one wants to get in her way.
