Humid Caribbean sunlight,
moist blazing colours,
refuse to be absorbed
by surfaces that sway
on soft melodic breezes

Underwater movement
ripples beneath foliage
dripping shades of green
Ancient jungle's liquid passion
breathes hotly on broad fronds

Tie-dyed reflections
streak across iris of eye
Dreamlike intensity
offers fragrant remedy
for one's inner condition

Upon immense watery stage
setting sun catches bouquet
as ebony curtain falls
Creatures stir and shriek
as colours go to sleep
